Arbors and pergolas can make the outdoors an inviting, shady place to spend time in the midst of Texas heat.  We offer a wide selection of custom built pergolas, covered patios and arbors. Whether you prefer treated lumber, cedar, or aluminum, we have a shade solution for you. We can also provide covered patios and screen rooms.

Our traditional cedar pergola are a notch above the rest. We skimp on nothing! The difference is in the size of the wood, spacing of wood, staining of wood, and positioning. Bigger is better, 8″ x 8″ posts  with 12″ beams are a good start. For maximum shade the 2″ x 2″s on top should be spaced the width of a 2″ x 2″ apart. The 2″ x 6″ shade slats should be spaced 6″ to 9″ apart so that when the sun is at even a slight angle one casts a shadow to the next, creating a solid shadow. The shade slats should run as close to north/south as possible. The lumber is ordered to our yard where it is stained to minimize the mess at our customers homes. We apply by hand two coats of the highest grade stain/sealer. The customer is given a choice of decorative end cuts. We even do these cuts on the 2″ x 2″s!  Every one is custom designed to fit your space.

Choose from our extensive list of shingled covers to keep you dry in a rain storm or a open air Pergolla/arbor to get more of a natural feel. All ceilings are constructed with tongue-groove deck boards and extra trim is always included. Post trim, custom post braces and installation of a ceiling fan are all free upgrades.
